What is the difference between a wall unit, a PTAC and a window unit?
A wall unit sits inside a metal sleeve built into the exterior wall; PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner) is the industry name for the type common in hotels and apartments; a window unit rests in the window frame and is removed seasonally. Our repairs cover all three; the sleeve and chassis differ.
Can you fix a wall AC that leaks water inside the apartment?
Yes. Water inside is usually a blocked internal drain, a tilted sleeve draining backwards, a failed condensate pan, or a poorly sealed exterior collar. We identify which, clear the path and reseat the sleeve or seal the collar if needed.
Our building has PTAC units on every floor. Do you service fleets?
Yes. PTAC fleets in apartment buildings and hotels are scoped per unit with a condition report. We coordinate with the super or property manager to sweep floors in batches rather than one call at a time.
Which wall AC and PTAC brands do you cover?

Can a wall unit be replaced without changing the sleeve?
